How to Download & Save Presets | Adobe Lightroom App (MOBILE)

  1. (a) If you have a computer, unzip the downloaded preset folder. Identify the folder of .DNG files from the preset pack download, and upload that folder to a cloud-storage app like Dropbox or iCloud that you can access on your phone. (b) If you do not have access to a computer, you can download WinZip on your phone which enables you to unzip your preset folder, and then save the .DNG files to your camera roll or to the ‘Files’ app on iPhone.

  2. Open the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom app on your mobile device.

  3. Next we want to add the .DNG files to your library. Navigate to the top right menu button “…”, then choose menu item “Add Photos” If you saved the photos to Dropbox or another cloud-storage app, select “From Files” and then browse to find the preset’s .DNG files you’d like to import. If you saved the photos to your camera roll on your device, select “From Camera Roll” and do the same.

  4. Now that your .DNG files are in your library, we can create presets from them. Select one of the files, and click the “…” icon that appears in the top right of the screen. Within that menu, click “Create Preset.” Name the preset after the file name shown on the .DNG file, and I recommend creating a custom “Preset Group” named with the preset package name (for example: “Locations”) for the pack as well to help keep your preset catalog organized. Repeat this step for every .DNG file.

  5. To use the presets on your own photos, import your pics into Lightroom Mobile, select a photo, and locate the “Presets” tool in the bottom panel of the toolbar, and scroll down to and click on the Preset album you saved the presets to. You can then select your desired preset from the pack.
